Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge // #CCCC27 ...A year round Christmas challenge that has a coffee theme with an added element.  Christmas + Coffee + Green = Christmas is brewing!!

Colorful Options // MAR2024 ...A color challenge!!  GREEN is the color for this current challenge.  Shaded Spruce from Stampin Up is the GREEN chosen for this challenge.

Jingle Belles // #JB2406 ...A year round Christmas challenge!!   The theme for this current challenge is "Bling on the Holidays"!!  Bling it up, Belles!!  I used some red rhinestone scalloped boarder for my bling today!!

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd785 ...A color challenge!!  Pink, yellow, and green are the colors called for in this challenge.  During my spring break craft room clean out I found this pink ribbon all tied up and ready to go and decide to build my card around that.  I paired it up with some yellow designer paper and some Granny Green card stock.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS60 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  This verse stamp from Unity Stamps got inked up for the very first time today.  Hoping it will be encouragement to a friend!!

Color Hues // #TCH83 ...A color challenge!!  Blue & Cream are the colors called for in this current challenge!!  I have been doing a crafting clean out and ran across this vintage "ledger" paper that was perfect for the duo of colors.  Made for a nice masculine anniversary card...especially for my accounting hubby!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC569 ...A sketch challenge!!  I used linen thread for the strips on my heart.  This lace frame heart worked perfectly...I just used the center cutout, wrapped in it with the thread, and then set it back in place.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M464 ...An "any occasion" challenge!!  Anniversary is the occasion I picked for my card.  I love celebrating the love that an anniversary represents!!

"Hoppy" Easter

CAS on Friday // #279 ...A clean and simple challenge!!  This current challenge has a EASTER theme.  I decided to make a bunny out of my punches.  I had seen this somewhere out there in blog land and wanted to give it a try...ADORABLE!!  Wouldn't you agree!?!

Make My Monday // #MMM221 ...A theme challenge!!  SPRING!!  Easter is a big part of spring, so this "hoppy" Easter card fits perfectly for their challenge.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc243 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in row on this tic-tac-toe game board: pastel colors, CAS, flowers.  Nothing like a yellow tuplip to get you in the mood for spring!!

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb226 ...A theme challenge!!  "SPRING IS ON IT'S WAY" is the theme for this current challenge!!  For this challenge we are suppose to use stamps that are over a year old.  This Beautiful Bouquet stamp set from Stampin Up came out in the 2017 catalog...retro indeed!!  Gotta love these oldies but goodies!!

Addicted to CAS // #254 ...A clean and simple challenge!!  I used to find these challenges difficult but over the years I have come to love the minimalistic cards.

As You See It // AYSI319 ...A "speed" challenge with a floral theme!!  The nice thing about a CAS card is that they go together quickly...again I used a die cut rectangle laying unused on my desk and knocked this out in 6.5 minutes!!  Most of my time was spent tying the bow!!

Update: This card was chosen as the "top pick" by the As You See It design team!!  What an honor!!  Thanks to AYSI for the shout out on my tulip card!!

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G343

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G343 ...A masculine theme challenge!!  DOGS OR PUPPIES...the theme for this new challenge that begins today.  Crazy, but I have only one dog stamp!!  And this stamp was bought years ago when I was asked to make a set of cards with this type of dog on them.

Sketch~N~Scrap // #SNS561 ...A sketch challenge!!  This was a fun sketch with lots of layers and and elements.  I used both sides of some new gingham paper that I just got from Stampin Up...this Pecan Pie paper was perfect for creating a masculine card using this sketch.

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

TGIF Challenges // #TGIF464 ...An inspiration challenge!!  My flowers kinda overwhelmed my gray stripes in the background...but they are there.

As You See It // #AYSI319 ...A "speed" challenge with a flower theme!!  A speed challenge means that the card needs to be made in under 10 minutes.  The stitched die rectangle was sitting on my pile of pieces & parts...cutting out but never used used.  So all I did was ink it up and glue it together!!  7 minutes!!

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb226 ...A "retro rubber" challenge with a flower theme.  Retro, meaning that the stamp we use needs to be at least 1 year old.  This Penned & Painted set from Stampin Up came out in 2016...very retro indeed!!

Inspired By Challenges // #IB280 ...An "inspired by fabric" challenge!! I love the aqua color called for in this inspiration photo.  A I feel like this designer paper has a fabric feel to it...kinda like a flannel shirt!!   

This challenge also has as optional sketch that has been given as an option to use.  You have to look really close to see it on my card (didn't photo very well) but there is a Whimsy Die square and rectangle behind my designer paper which was inspired by the sketch.

Never Before Use Schtuff // #NBUS60 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  I ordered these Whimsy Dies during Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration event and I am just getting around to using these dies.  These two small ones got used for the first time today.

Sunday Stamps // #SSC331 ...A color challenge!!  From the "Easter Bounty" palette of five colors, use at least three on your creation.  I used Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, and Kraft as my three colors for today's card.

Make My Monday // #MMM221 ...A theme challenge!!  SPRING is the theme for this current challenge.  I just pulled all kinds of mushrooms out of my year yesterday while doing some Spring clean up in our front yard.  To bad they weren't the kind you can eat.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS60 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  Today I busted into a brand new pack of designer paper from Stampin Up.  I had said I wasn't going to buy any more designer paper until I used up some of my stash!!  But... since Stampin Up did a color over-haul...I just had to break that promise!!
