Fri-Yay!! 3.3.23

Card #1 inspired by 2 challenges...

Hand Stamped Sentiment // #HSS480 ...A color challenge!!  Another starfish card in these colors but I kept this one a little bit more CAS...unlike the other one I made I only used one circle and did not emboss the background.  Even in this simpler state...I love it!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC514 ...A sketch challenge!!  I put the starfish on the wrong side and used a circle instead of an oval but I do love the simpleness of this card.

Card #2 inspired by 1 challenge...

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI293 ...A recipe challenge!!  Use all 5 of the ingredients given to us by the team.  The 5 ingredients are distressed paper (I tore the edges), blossoms (a trio of blooms), pearls (used at the centers of my flowers), pink (monochromatic papers in pink...from dark to light), embossing folder (slim line folder from years ago).

Oh...since this is a Mother's Day card with flowers it also qualifies for...

3 "spring time" theme challenges from...

Global Design Project // #GDP383

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC137

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC507

All three of these challenges that I regularly play along with have "spring time" themes right now.  So here is my spring time Mother's Day card.

  1. I love the background in that circle. A fantastic CAS card. Thank you so much for sharing at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

  2. Love how you used the circle to create a beautiful starfish scene. You created a very lovely card. Thanks so much for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

  3. I love the embossed flowers! So very pretty!! Thanks for joining us at Inspire.Create!

  4. These cards are so gorgeous. I love the elegant, clean simplicity of them both. Beautiful combinations of the challenges!

  5. Another fun card with the color combo! Very beautiful for a sympathy card. Thanks for joining the hand stamped sentiments challenge

  6. Both cards are beautiful! You did a beautiful job of balancing the 3 colours from the HSS Colour Challenge. Thanks for playing along with us.

  7. I really like that torn strip of paper! Especially as you've placed it so that the ombre is a reverse of the floral panel. Very pretty use of the ingredients! Thank you for playing along with us again at As You See It.

  8. What a great take on the sketch I love the sea theme! Thanks for playing along with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (AHSC).

  9. Love the CAS feel to this card with the bold colouring of the star fish really making it pop. Thanks for playing with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week.

  10. I love your take on the challenge and the way you've included all the elements of it! The narrow, debossed daisies really make a statement! Thanks for cooking up our recipe at As You See It Challenges!

  11. What a beautifully CAS card Deb and such a clever way to include all of the elements. I love the embossed blooms and the reverse ombre effect with the papers. Thanks for playing our recipe challenge over at As You See It!

  12. Deb, you did SUCH a great job with our recipe - and even made it CAS! Wow! This is such a lovely card, that torn edge really pops! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!

  13. And love THIS starfish card, too - such a brilliant take on our colors! Thanks so much for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
