Cupcake Inspirations // #CI574 ...A cupcake inspired challenge!!  They have given us a color challenge this go round but I decided a cupcake stamp was in order too...and I went ahead and made my cupcake a key lime one too!!  The color combo for the current challenge is lime, aqua, and white.  

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC536 ...A sketch challenge!!  That trio of banners was perfect for showcasing my yummy key lime cupcake.

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb212 ...An "anything goes" challenge using stamps over a year old.  My cupcake stamp and sentiment are from Verve stamps that is no longer in business...I have had this set for over 9 years.  Some sets are just to great to part with!!

Card #1 inspired by 2 challenges...

TGIF Challenge // #tgifc315 ...A color challenge!! The trio of color for this current challenge...Daffodil Delight//Mango Melody//Magenta Madness.  These three colors from Stampin Up are perfect for a floral card.

Inspired By // #IB173 ...A photo challenge with a sketch option!! I used both the photo and the sketch.  These card would have made a great Mother's Day card but it can also be sent at anytime since it actually doesn't included that sentiment.  Maybe it I don't use it or sell it this year I turn it into a Mother's Day card by adding that sentiment to the inside.

Here is my take on the sketch challenge from Just Add Ink.  #JAI553  I had fun playing with my new Flower Cactus Product Medley from Stampin Up.  The paper, the stamps, the dies, and the felt embellishments are so fun!

Retro Rubber Challenge #157

Today's card was inspired by the Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb157 ...A sketch challenge!!  Not just a sketch challenge but also a retro challenge...stamps used must be over a year old.  This verse is from Verve stamps a company that is no longer in business...I have had this stamp over 6 years but I am not completely sure when it came out.  But every year around Mother's Day it comes out and gets inked up!!  My lace, dollie, and flower embellishment are retired from Stampin Up...so they are retro items as well.

Tic Tac Toe // #tttc111 ...A game board challenge!  My winning three in a row on this board is mother/child image, coloring, and scallops.  This winning three in a row runs left upper corner to  right bottom corner.  I love this little beach scene I was able to create using retired stamps from Stampin Up.  I did a little "masking" to get the mom and her two sons playing in the sand.

TGIF Challenge // #tgifc314 ...A designer take over challenge!! Oh my ombre!!  Can't think of a better way to play along with this challenge than to use Stampin Up's ombre papers!! It is like they were made for this challenge,

Fab Friday Challenge // #212 ...A color challenge!  We were given 4 colors...Old Olive, Soft Seafoam, Terracotta Tile, and Flirty Flamingo.  I decided a water color blend of these colors would be the perfect back drop for these palms.

 Today's card was inspired by 2 challenges...

Freshly Made Sketch // #FMS ...A sketch challenge!  I found this sketch to be challenging even though it was a simple one, but I like how it turned out.

Fab Friday // #210 ...A color challenge!  The color combo for this current challenge is Misty Moonlight, Pear Pizzazz, and Smokey Slate.  Perfect combo for a lighthouse scene using Stampin Up's High Tide stamp set.

3 challenges inspired today's card ( one simple & one with extras)...

Less Is More // #LIM358 ...A single layer card challenge!! Their current challenge is to create a single layer card using flowers.  I stamped this frame from Verve stamped and then filled the frame with flowers...just a single layer of paper and ink.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS474 ...A sketch challenge!  Created the same card but this time added some layers and pearls to the center of my flowers.  Both cards turned out pretty but I am thinking I like the one with a little extras just a bit better.  What do you think??

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS358 ...A photo challenge!  I don't have a single cacti or succulent stamp so I let the colors inspire we...I love the hot pink and green color combo.

Time Out Challenge #171

Coffee!! The Time Out challenge has me thinking about coffee this morning!!  So while I drink my morning coffee I'll post my card for this challenge.

I did some messy cutting of designer papers to create my background.  I guess I could have just used the designer paper but I liked the layering and white space that I created.

As You See It Challenge #235 & INKspirational Cahllenge #223

This card was created for two challenges...

INKspirational Challenge #223...Angle It!!  So this card has several angles in it...the zig zag stitching, the die stitched stripes are angled of on the ends, and then the "perfect" sentiment die.

As You See It Challenge #235...Sew Good!!  This challenge had me doing some hand stitching!  I was inspired by the zig zag from the photo.

TWO CARDS....TicTacToe #065 & Fusion

This first card was created for the Fusion Challenge...Enough!!  I used both the sketch and the photo portions of this challenge.  My sentiments seemed fitting for the enough theme..."You are awesome"!! More than enough!!





My second card was made for the Tic Tac Toe challenge.  I am playing along across the bottom of the game board...wood//gray//emboss.  I used my wood grain embossing folder on some Smokey Slate card stock from Stampin Up.  This covered all three elements called for and added another Father's Day card to my stash.  Actually it didn't get added to my stash because it already sold!!

As You See It Challenge #225 & Inspired By Challenge-Sweet On You

Today's card was inspired by the sketch challenge from As You See It and the photo challenge from Inspired By.   I am on a roll using up my stash of designer paper!!  One thing I have learned during this Covid-19 lock down...I can create and create from the stash I have and still have days and months worth of papers remaining!!   Hazards of a paper crafter...we tend to hoard pretty papers!!

Freshly Made Sketch Challenge #435

It is time to start working on my Father's Day stash!!  So....today I am using the sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches to get started!!   Yesterday's designer papers that I used are just so perfect for masculine cards....that distressed look gives such a masculine feel!!

INkspirational Challlenge #211

Paint splatters...that is the challenge from INKspirational Challenges.  I had "splatters" on my mind and ended up using more of a beverage splatter.  Since it was made using Bermuda Bay ink, does the color qualify it as a paint splatter??  Regardless...even is INKspirational Challenges nixes it....I like how it turned out.  I used Stamping Up's embossing folder, Verve sentiment stamp, Tim Holtz stencil, and Stampin Up ink.

Color Throwdown Challenge #590 & Less Is More Challenge #418

Here is a card that I created for the Color Throwdown challenge and the Less Is More challenge. 
 
The color combo for this week's challenge is...Navy, Yellow, Green and Kraft.  I used Stampin Up's Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green and a Kraft card base.  The current challenge from Less Is More...Scribbles/Drips/Splats!!  Anyone else leave coffee stains around your creating table??  These circle are actual coffee drips and splats!!
