Just Add Ink // #JAI568 ...A sketch challenge!!  Another fun sketch perfect for using up designer papers from my stash!!  This summer I have made it my goal to not purchase any more designer papers and put a dent in my stash.  Slow process because I had quite the stash!! 

Card #2 inspired by one challenge...

Inspired By // #IB183 ...A photo and a sketch challenge!!  I used both the photo and the sketch.  My inspiration logic...instead of actually circles I let the flower clusters be my circles // Pink Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and Basic Gray were my color picks to represent the color combo in the photo

TGIF Challenges #328

Today's card was inspired by one single challenge.

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc328 ...A color challenge!  The color combo for this challenge is Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, and Whisper White.  I decided to use black as my background and emboss Stampin Up's Queen Anne's Lace onto it.  I love the stark contrast and the Coastal Cabana adds the perfect splash of color!

Card #1 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Less Is More // #LIM442 ...A theme challenge!! Sea Creatures!! I chose jelly fish and created a water colored back ground.  I love these little jelly fish from Stampin Up's Whale Done stamp set.

Color Throwdown // #ctd641 ...A color challenge!!  Red, Pale Blue, and Carmel.  I used Stampin Up's Real Red, Pool Party, and Crumb Cake.  I love the deep sea look these color created.

CASology // #389 ...A cue card challenge!! The cue card for this current challenge is DEAR.  I created a sentiment that fits this cue card.

Card #2 was inspired by 1 challenge...

CAS Colours & Sketches // #418 ...A color challenge! The colors for this challenge were Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray and Smokey Slate. Stampin Up's Queen Anne's Lace was the perfect set for this color combo!!  And I got to use my Basic Gray ribbon that has since been retired.

Twofer Challenge #34

The first Twofer challenge for 2021 is a FLOWER challenge.  Make two cards...two different designs, two different occasions, using the same stamps, stencils and/or dies.  For my card I am using Stampin Up's Queen Anne's Lace stamp set.  On my sympathy card I used the flowers as a silhouette and on my friendship card used the two step stamping technique that this set was intended for.

CAS(E) this Sketch // #399...A sketch challenge! This sketch was perfect for a little inking to happen behind it.  Great way to show off my new Stampin Up set that I received from my up-line!! Special thank you to Cindy Foder!!  

Fab Friday // #211...This is such a great color combo that I just had to use it again!!  Mint Macaroon, Cinnamon Cider, and Bumblebee. 

Update: So excited that this card made the "Fab Fave" over at the Fab Friday challenge!!

The current challenge from the Global Design Project team is to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) a card by Charlet Mallett.  Here are some of the elements I carried over from her card...the strip of newsprint // Circular sketch in bottom right // embossed background // die cut sentiment // bird.
