Addicted to CAS // #216 ...A code word challenge!! WATER is the word for this current challenge.  I think of waves when I think of water...maybe that is because I live in Florida.

Less Is More // #LIM460 ...A recipe challenge!!  Use a bit of bling as an ingredient!!  I picked some blue rhinestones that I had hidden in my stash.

Update:  This card was chosen by the design team over at Addicted to CAS as the CAS Perfectionist!!  Yahoo!!  What an honor!!  Here is what they had to say about this card...."I love all the detail Deb has packed into this small grouping - the textured sea, the way the whale is bursting out of frame, the beautiful blues, and the punny sentiment! Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC459 ...A sketch challenge!!  I made this one a slim line card.  Seemed like the perfect sketch for showcasing my new arrival from Stampin Up...Seas the Day.  I paired it up with a retired sentiment, some retired Whale of a Time designer papers and a scattering of sequins.

Card #2 was inspired by 1 challenge...

Global Design Project // #GDP329 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors called for in the challenge...Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness and Mango Melody.  Because I am having so much fun with my new set I just had to make these colors into a seascape.  Did you know that Misty Moonlight and Mango Melody kinda make a green?!?

Today begins a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz!  For this challenge we want to see your masculine cards that have a "LOVE" theme!! This one might be a bit tougher...which makes me even more excited to see all the different idea yall come up with for those guys that we love!!  I just got this Hey Handsome sentiment stamp and thought this challenge was perfect for inking it up!!

Paper Craft Crew Challenge // #PCC458 ...A sketch challenge!!  A fun horizontal sketch.  I am gonna be so sad when I run out of this Whale of a Time designer papers.  For today's creation I created a 3D jelly fish using dimensionals.

Global Design Project // #GDP322 ...A sketch challenge!!  For me the trio of circles became a trio of turtles!!   I kept this sketch very simple but can envision this sketch being very elaborate!  Maybe I'll save this for later and try it with a more elaborate flare.

Sunday Stamps // #SS268 ...A sketch challenge!!  Winter is just around the corner and this sketch had me thinking of snow.  The layout was perfect for some falling snow with a little sparkle!!

Time Out // #199 ...A theme challenge!! Down to Earth is the theme of this challenge!!  Where are those snowflakes falling?? Why...DOWN TO EARTH...of course!!!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS501 ...A sketch challenge!!  I had so many ideas rolling around in my head for this challenge! But...since my grand-daughter and her parents are visiting from Chicago, I have not take the time to do much stamping.  I do love this sketch and have saved it to revisit it when I have more time.

The theme for this current challenge...summer lovin!!  Summer lovin for our family mean time out on our boat...enjoying the waves, looking for crabs, watching the sea life, and fishing!! So this paper that has been hanging out in my stash was perfect for this summer loving theme.

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC442 ...A sparkle & shimmer challenge!! Add some sparkle and shimmer to your card...how about some sequins!?! Perfect little finishing touch for today's card.

 Here is a fun birthday card that I made for the Global Design Project sketch challenge.  #GDP270  I love pairing Stampin Up's Whale of a Time designer papers with their Sea of Textures stamp set.  They didn't come as a bundle but they pair up so perfectly!!

Cardz 4 Guyz #257 & As You See It #237

Two cards for two challenges...

My first card was created for the Cardz 4 Guyz challenge that begins today.  These vintage stamps from Tim Holtz create the perfect card for an adult male.  We would love to have you come play along with our "birthday for an adult guy" challenge.  I'm sure you have some adult men in your life who would love to be remembered on their birthday!!  So come play along with us over at Cardz 4 Guyz!!

My second card was created for the As You See It challenge.  The current challenge was a sketch challenge.  Once again these fun designer papers from Stampin Up (Whale of a Time) worked perfectly!!  I'm gonna be sad when I get these papers used up...they have been a ton of fun to work with!!

#bethegift challenge:  Print out a bunch of "You are so LOVED" cards and hide them in the pages of books at the library, on the shelves in the grocery store, or on tables in the food court of your local mall.

Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #548 & Less Is More Challenge #431

It is amazing that you can use the same designer paper and create a card full of detail and another card that is completely CAS!!  I created two cards using Stampin Up's designer papers.

This first card was created for the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge.  #mojomonday548

Lots of detail with multiple layers...very different from this next card.

This second card was created for the Less is More challenge.  This challenge is a CAS challenge that calls for the use of two types of foliage.  I stamped in black a different type of sea foliage over the printed foliage on this designer paper.  Very clean and simple--CAS!!

 

#bethegift challenge:  Set three alarms today...each time they go off pray for some one who is hurting!!  Include the US Presidential Election in each of those prayers!!
