Color Throwdown Challenge #623 & Tic Tac Toe Challenge #

This card was created for 2 challenges....

The color challenge from the Color Throwdown team.  #CTD623 Their color combo for the current sketch it Green, Aqua, and Pink.   I also noticed and used the metallic element found of the layers of the trees...thus my little gold stars and the gold mat.  

The second challenge that inspired this card was the Tic Tac Toe challenge.  #TTTC093.  My winning three is a row runs down the right hand side of the game board...Embossing Paste/Spotlight technique/Gold.  I have included a close up picture of my embossing paste stars...you can't really see them in the first picture...and even in this close up the white on white makes it hard to see but it real life it looks good! 

This new bicycle stamp I got with a gift certificate that I won from Rubbernecker Stamps.  My name was drawn in the Twofer Card Challenge give away!!  Lucky me!!  I usually am not a winner in give-aways but I got lucky this time!!

Two Cards // Three Challenges

My first card was created for the CASology Challenge #379.  Their current cue card is...WHEAT!!   I had to dig deep for this one...the challenge has laid on my crafting table until the challenge was almost over!!  I just could come up with an idea for wheat!!  Alas, I stumbled across this Sale-A-Bration set from Stampin Up...it has been retired but it does fit the cue card.

This second card was created for two challenges.  A sketch challenge from the Freshly Made Sketches team.  #FMS465  And a color challenge from the Hand Stamped Sentiments team.  #HSSCC354  Their color combo for this current challenge is Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Misty Moonlight.  I used my acrylic block to create this watercolor tag in all three colors...edged the tag with my Misty Moonlight maker...layered it on my embossed background...then I stamped the foliage in Misty Moonlight...next I added an Old Olive ribbon and sentiment.

A Beachy Little Christmas // CAS Colours & Sketches #400

 

Today's card is for the CAS Colours & Sketches challenge.  This is a milestone challenge for them...the 400th challenge...YIPPIE!!  For the current challenge we were to pick a past color combo or sketch and make it a seasonal card.  I picked challenge #373 which was a color challenge...that color combo was Pool Party//Crumb Cake//Pear Pizzazz.  Those colors sounded like a beachy little Christmas to me!!  So out came Stampin Up's retired set...Beachy Little Christmas.

#bethegift challenge:  Give a busy mama you know a few hours this Sunday afternoon to run some Christmas errands without her children in tow.

Global Design Project #270

 Here is a fun birthday card that I made for the Global Design Project sketch challenge.  #GDP270  I love pairing Stampin Up's Whale of a Time designer papers with their Sea of Textures stamp set.  They didn't come as a bundle but they pair up so perfectly!!

TGIF Challenge // #TGIF293 ....A color challenge! The color combo give to us for this challenge is...Highland Heather, Balmy Blue and Smokey Slate.  A fun wintery combo!!

The Paper Players // #PP502 ...A theme challenge! "Its Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas".   Christmas time brings wintery nights with kids begging for snow...Let it snow!!

TicTacToe Challenge // #TTTC092 ...A game board challenge! My winning three in a row runs across the bottom of the board.  Star (stamped in Smokey Slate and enamel embellishments) Metallic (metellic & pearl brads at the center of the large snowflakes and cording) Snow (two snowflake punches)

Three challenges inspired my card...

Inspired By // #IB153 .....A photo challenge!  And the title was "Melting Snowman"!  So I used Stampin Up's Sprinkles of Life cupcake topper...that stamp is perfect for a little melting puddle...add the top hat and stick arms from another retired bundle, Snow Place...add in a "carrot nose" and some buttons and you have a melting snowman!!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS464 ...A sketch challenge!  This week's sketch has so many possibilities, but I thought is was perfect for my little melting snowman!!

The Paper Players // #PP520 ...A theme challenge! "Its Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas".   Tis the Season!! For snowmen and all thing wintery!!

Just Add Ink Challenge #534 & As You See It Challenge #240

 Two challenges inspired today's card...

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI240...A recipe challenge!  Use all 5 ingredients given to us on your card!!  I did it with this trio of Christmas ornaments!!  Snowflake...punched out snowflakes on two of the bulbs.   Die Cut...all three ornament bulbs were cute out with my Stitched Circle dies from Stampin Up.  Ribbon or twine...I used silver cording to "hang" my trio of bulbs!! Patterned paper...My background is some retired designer paper from Stampin Up.  Red & Green...I used both card stock and ink!

Just Add Ink // #534...A color challenge!  The color combo for this challenge was Real Red, Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzaz.  The Christmas trees in my large bulb were stamped with Stampin Up's Waterfront set.
