Try Stampin on Tuesday Challenge #488 & CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #401

 2 challenges inspired today's card...

CAS Colours & Sketches // #401
...A color challenge!! The trio of colors for this challenge...Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, and Cherry Cobbler.  I used Bermuda Bay ink and card stock, Pool Party ink for the balloon, and Cherry Cobbler ribbon and candy dots to embellish my hot air balloon.

Try Stampin on Tuesday // #TSOT488 ...A sketch challenge!! I love the festive pennants in this sketch.  At first glance I was thinking I would make a birthday card but in the end I decided on this sentiment to finish it off..."You're off to great places"!!

Verse of the Day:

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

JOHN 1:14 (ESV)

  7. Deb, hot air balloons and pennants just seem to go naturally together, don't they? Love how you incorporated them into your card you shared with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday! The horizontal lines suggest the flow of wind to keep the balloon moving and the pennants waving - clever! Thank you for sharing your creative talents and your card with us at TSOT!!! -Donna
