Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // Global Design Project // NBUS Challenge

2 Cards

Card #1 inspired by 2 challenges...

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC527 ...A sketch challenge!!  I found this tablet of designer paper deep in my stash and the diagonal stripes were perfect for the sketch.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS51 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  I was cleaning out a boxed that was still packed from out move 9 years ago and came across several tablets of designer papers that still had the sticker seal on them...NEVER BEFORE USED!!  The tablets might be old but they were still sealed up!

NBUS #51

Card #2 inspired by one challenge...

Global Design Project // #GDP396 ...A CASE challenge!!  For this challenge we are CASEing a card made by Krista Frattin. I used Stampin Up's To The Moon stamp set to case her creation.  I love this "more thanks than the stars ins the sky" sentiment.

Global Design Project 316 // Addicted to CAS 209

2 Cards...

Card #1 was inspired by 1 challenge...

Global Design Project // #GDP316 ...A CASE challenge!!  This week we a CASEing (copy and selectively edit) a card made by Stesha Bloodhart.  I used her sketch, the wreath with foliage, and the Christmas theme.

Card #2 was inspired by 1 challenge...

Addicted to CAS // #209 ...A code word challenge!! PURPLE was the code word for this challenge!!  One of my favorite purples was Stampin Up's Wisteria Wonder that has been retired...I still have my ink pad and some baker's twine left so they were my choice for this purple challenge!!

Color Throwdown Challenge #608 & Global Design Project #255

The Color Throwdown challenge this week.....
orange, pink, yellow and peach!  My choices for these colors are Stampin Up's Pumpkin Pie, Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, and Peekaboo Peach. These colors made me think of Fall....maybe it is all the Pumpkin Spice Latte commercials!!  With Fall on my mind I pulled out my Tim Holtz leaf stamp which is perfect for the Global Design Project (#GDP255) theme challenge...Trees/Leaves!  I had fun sponging and blending these 4 colors onto this cut out leaf.

"T" ....add a T element to your project!  That is the challenge from the Just Add Ink team.  How about trees...thanks...tranquility?!?  To make that happen I am also playing along with a color challenge & a sketch challenge.  The sketch challenge is from CAS(E) this Sketch.  The color challenge is from the Global Design Project (#GDP253).  Their color combo for this challenge was Granny Apple Green, Bumble Bee, and Calypso Coral.

INKspirational Challenge #218 // Hand Stamped Sentiments #344 // Global Design Project #251

This cute little card was created for 3 challenges.  Thanks to all three for the inspiration...here is how they inspired me...

*Followed the sketch from Handstamped Sentiments
*Used the polka dots and octopus from INKspirational's photo
*The octopus fits Global Design Project's theme...aquatic (#GDP251)

The sentiment on this card is a retired set from Stampin Up and the octopus is from Stampin Up's Sea of Textures bundle.  I am loving how this card turned out!

Global Design Project #249 & As You See It Challenge #230

So....I had so much fun with this turtle I just had to make another card this morning!!  This little guy from Stampin Up's Whale Done is just the cutest!!  This card was created for the Global Design Project color challenge and the As You See It "speed" challenge.  For the color combo challenge I used the Pool Party ink for the back ground, the Misty Moonlight ink for the turtles, and the Petal Pink ink sponged over the turtles.   The "speed" challenge calls for us to complete our card in under 10 minute...I finished my in 7:49!!  This week we were also suppose to have a trio of something.  My something...a trio of these cute turtles.

Color Throwdown Challenge #600 / Sketch Saturday #616 / Global Design Project #247

A sketch challenge and a color challenge go so well together!!  Today I am pairing up the color challenge from the Color Throwdown team and the sketch challenge from Sketch Saturday.  I love this summery color combo...red, green, and black with a watermelon theme.  I don't have any watermelon stamps so I just created one using my circle dies and punches.  Nothing says summer time like a slice of watermelon so I guess this card is very fitting for the Global Design Project (#GDP247) challenge as well!!

#bethegift challenge:  Text someone before you fall asleep tonight, just to remind them that they are loved!

Update: This card was a Sketch Saturday winner!!  Yahoo!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments #340//Paper Craft Crew #370//Global Design Project #243

So....flowers//blooms//bouquets seems to be popular this week for challenges.  I created this card for the Hand Stamped Sentiments, Paper Craft Crew and Global Design Project.  All three of these challenges call for flowers.

Global Design Project #238 & Color Throwdown Challenge #591

A sketch challenge and a color challenge make up this card.  The Global Design Project sketch was perfect for layering up the trio of colors called for in the Color Throwdown challenge.  I am using one of the digital downloads from Stampin Up's Share Sunshine fund raising project in relation to the Corona virus.

Addicted to CAS #181 // Global Design Project #235 // INKspirational #210

TEXTURE!! That is the current challenge from Addicted to CAS.  I created a bit of texture using a stencil and some glitter...wish I could have captured it a little better in my photo!!  In real life the glittery background is very raised and the texture definitely pops!!

Today's card was also created with the SPRING theme that two other challenges called for...Global Design Project (#GDP235) and INKspirational.  Nothing says spring like butterflies and new life!!  I thought the color combo kinda shouted out spring as well.

Materials used:  Stamping Up's Butterfly Basics and Rose Garden thinlits, Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral card stock, yellow glitter & stencils

#bethegift challenge:  Give someone the gift of genuinely undivided attention today.  Look in their eyes.  Souls matter.
