Today begins a new challenge at...
CAS on Friday // #311 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!! The theme for this current challenge is SUMMER!! Ahoy, summer is here!! I love summer...I love being on the water!!
I am so excited for this new bundle from Stampin Up...matching stamps, dies, and embossing folder. Today I am just using the dies and sentiment stamp from the Sunrise Sailing bundle...gotta keep it clean and simple!! My second card also fits our summer clean & simple theme. I guess I am on a roll with these summer vibes!!
Now it is your turn...what do you have in your stash that will fit our SUMMER theme?? We can't wait to see your clean and simple summer entry. Hop on over to our blog and check out all the details for this new challenge and gather up some additional inspiration from the rest of the design team.
Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS75 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using. On today's 1st card, I am using this little sailboat die from Stampin Up's Sunrise Sailing bundle for the first time. On today's 2nd card, I am also inking up it's sentiment stamp from My Favorite Things for the very first time.
Card #2 inspired by 3 challenges...
The Paper Players // #PP741 ...A color challenge!! The trio of colors for this current challenge: Peach, Light Blue, and Green. I used Stampin Up's Peek-a-boo Peach, Balmy Blue and their green water-colored pencil for the green.
Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS465 ...A mood board challenge!! My inspiration from this mood board...the middle beach scene and the soft pastels.
Little Red Wagon // #LRW811 ...A theme challenge!! The theme for this current challenge is: Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me!! The Little Red Wagon team wants to see projects that include a sun!!
Love your CAS Sailboat! Fabulous card!
ReplyDeleteThe sea is just amazing! Superb card Deb.
ReplyDeleteDeb... loving on both cards! Did you use holographic paper on the sea in the first card? It looks amazing! Anyway... two wonderful cards for a Florida girl! Thanks for sharing with the Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like holographic paper but it is not...just a marble swirl from Stampin Up
DeleteSuper cards! I especially like the second as I love palm trees!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us for our “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” challenge at Little Red Wagon this week! I’m so glad that you linked your project!
