Card #1 was inspired by 2 challenges...
Just Add Ink // #JAI589 ...A just add challenge!! Just add...minimalist!! Straight from the JAI post..."Minimalist art is an extreme type of abstract art that usually is depicted through simplistic shapes and hard edges, all while exposing the essence of the forms and materials used. One of the most common is repetition, or creating multiple images of the same shape, especially simple geometric forms like lines or squares. Artists repeat shapes and compose projects composed of vertical colour blocks. Simple, paired down to the fewest possible lines or forms"
I used the "mulitple images of the same" and the "repeat of shapes" portions of this definition for my inspiration.
CAS Colours & Sketches // #CC&S455 ...A color challenge!! The color combo for this current challenge...Real Red, Blushing Bride, and Melon Mambo. A floral theme came to mind when I saw the colors and paired with black it made for a great sympathy card.

Freshly Made Sketches //#FMS521 ...A sketch challenge!! Washi tape seemed perfect for this sketch...worked like a charm framing off my background stamp.
Color Hues // #TCH34 ...A color challenge!! The duo of colors for this challenge...Black & Red!! A classic combination and one of my favorites.
The Paper Players // #PP577 ...A theme challenge!! Love//Friendship!! I have several friends in my life that are my "true north"...They keep me pointed in the right direction!!
