A Birthday & A Thank You

 Card #1 inspired by 2 challenges...

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC516 ...A sketch challenge!!  My mom was doing some Spring cleaning and found this pack of paper from over 10 years ago when we lived in VA.  She asked me if I could make some cards with it...that is why you keep seeing these papers in my blog posts.  Since she found it while Spring cleaning...I think I could also share it with the As You See It challenge!!   I didn't really use scraps but this paper packet was a product of some Spring cleaning.  LOL!!

 

Update: So excited to have this card chosen as a top 3 by the Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge team!!  What an honor!!  Y'all know how to make a girl smile!!

Card #2 inspired by 1 challenge...

Global Design Project // #GDP385 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors for this challenge: Costal Cabana, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla.  A beachy color combination in my mind's eye.

Both cards are also perfect for the Retro Rubber challenge // #rrcb202  It is an "anything goes" challenge.  But you have to use stamps that are over a year old.  Card #1...I used the Just Believe stamp set from Stampin Up that retired in 2013 (not sure what year is came out but obviously it is an oldie but goodie).  And the sentiment on Card #2 came from Stampin Up's Rose Wonder stamp set that came out in 2016.
