Global Design Project // #GDP388 ...A CASE challenge!!  This week we are CASEing a card made by Ann Alexander.  I love the florals in the opposing corners and the water colored background...I used both of those on my card.  Her beautiful card is a hard act to follow.  But I had fun working with her card as my inspiration.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS411 ...An inspiration challenge!!  All things spring time and blooming!!  I picked the mango umbrellas as my inspiration for my ink color.  A blooms, blooms, and more blooms!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC519 ...A sketch challenge!!  I did use the sketch as my inspiration but I didn't make it a step card.  I tried but it just didn't look right so I used the sketch on a regular base card.

Festive Friday Challenge // #FF0131 ...An inspo list challenge!!  Of the 10 items on the inspo list honoring National Pet Day, pick 3 to use as your inspiration.  I picked...paw prints, embossing folder, and twine.  This is one of those cards you never have to make...losing a fur baby is tough!!

The Paper Players // #PP625 ...A sketch challenge!!  I used Stampin Up's Sweet As a Peach stamp set to create the clusters in the corners.  I love that the sentiment takes center stage in this stamp set.

Color Hues // #TCH57 ...A color challenge!! The duo of colors for this challenge...Coral & Sage!! A perfect combination for using the peach set.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS564 ...A sketch challenge!!  Winter has just begun and already I am ready for spring...so while this sketch would work perfectly for snowflakes I am using peaches with wishful thinking.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd721 ...A color challenge!!  Coral, Silver, and Pine are the colors called for during this current challenge.  I used Stampin Up's Calypso Coral card stock and ink, silver embossing powder and twine, and Mossy Meadow card stock.

An Announcement I'm Excited About

Super excited!! I have been invited to join the Sunday Stamps design team!! Looking forward to working with this team to bring inspiration to your card making.

Today begins a new challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  ( #SSC285 ) Our current challenge is a color challenge!  Use at least 3 of the 5 colors from the given palette.  Here is my take using Stampin Up's Tempting Turquoise, Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry with some Real Red blossoms hidden behind the vellum.

We look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge.  Check out additional inspiration from the rest of the team to get your creative juices flowing.

The TIC TAC TOE challenge.  My winning three in a row for this game board challenge: die cut (greenery die from Stampin Up's Sweet As A Peach bundle), embellishment (trio of mini staples accenting both sides of the vellum), bright colors (Tempting Turquoise is one of the brightest colors ever).  #tttc165  

Secondly, the Inspire.Create.Challenges. blog.  This color challenge is so close to the color challenge at Sunday Stamps that I decided to enter their challenge as well. #ICC119

Just Us Girls // #JUG636 ...A trend challenge!  The trend that is highlighted for this challenge is "add a moving element".  I decided to make a shaker card...lots of moving beads in this blossom.

 2 challenges inspired today's card...

Global Design Project // #GDP312 ...A CASE challenge!!  This week they have us CASEing one of their team members from Germany...Madeleine Mrotzek!  Here is what inspired me from her card...the stamp set, the sketch, and the stenciling. 

Color Throwdown // #CTD663 ...A color challenge!! Orange, Brown, and Gray are the colors given for this challenge.  I used white ink on cardstock in each of these colors.  I love how it turned out.  Usually I am inking of stamps in the called for colors but this time I decided to try something different...I am a fan!!

Fusion // 9.16.21 ...A fusion challenge!! Use either the sketch or the photo...or fuse them together and use both!!  For this card I used both the sketch and the photo.

Color Hues // #TCH26 ...A color challenge!!  Pink & Purple are the colors for this current challenge.  For this duo I used Stampin Up's Highland Heather and Blushing Bride.  I am very disappointed with the photo...neither color rings true in this photo maybe if I have time this evening after work I can retake it.

The Paper Players // #PP557 ...A theme challenge!! The theme for this current challenge...by the numbers!  My number dies from Stampin Up are perfect for this challenge.  Since my sister is turning 50 this month I decided this is the perfect opportunity to make a by the numbers card.

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc332 ...A color challenge!! The color combo for this week's challenge...Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, and Cinnamon Cider.  Perfect color combo for a fall birthday!

Just Add Ink // #JAI569 ...A letter challenge!!  Just add a "N"!!  My "N" is nature and nectarine.  Okay so the fruit came out of Stampin Up's Sweet as a Peach bundle, but I can make it a nectarine...right??

Color Throwdown // #ctd657 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this current challenge red, green, turquoise, and gray.  (Okay...I'm not sure what happened! The colors did not come through correctly in my photo...the bottom book is turquoise, 2nd book is red, the third book is green and the sponging is gray!! Couldn't redo the photo since I have mailed it!!  CRAZY!!  Didn't notice it till I went to post it)

Festive Friends // #FF0091 ...A recipe challenge!!  Use at least 3 for the ingredients listed.  The current ingredients are in honor of International Literacy Day, and my three ingredients are books, layers, and alphabet.

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC441 ...A sketch challenge!! The fun vertical sketch has all kinds of options...for me I created another back to school card.  This year especially our teachers need to be honored and thanked!!
